As a follow up to our very well-received first set of Puzzle Postcards, Logan Giannini and I created Puzzle Postcards Series 2: Cycle of Learning.

Logan did the design work for three of the four games in Series 2, and I handled creating the other game in the set - Trial by Cipher - along with designing the themed bookmark and box for the series.

I had a lot of fun putting Trial by Cipher together, as each distinct card in the game is stylistically very different from the others, both aesthetically and in the variety of puzzles offered. The game consists of an envelope with five postcards of varying materials, printed both front and back with rich imagery and curious writing, conveying all sorts of secrets for those who pay close attention. There is also a post-it note in the envelope, scrawled with some helpful information to get players started.
